THE REIVERS
"Other Side" (from "Pop Beloved")
music/lyrics by John Croslin

The primary chord structure is in G-major. G-D-C9-D with a slide on the D up to an E before starting over. G: 3-2-0-0-3-3 D: x-x-0-2-3-2 C9: x-3-2-0-3-0 Dslide to E: x-x-0-4-5-4 This is used for the verses. The bridge ("Oh I see the big world at your feet...") is something like this: G-D-Emin-C-Em-C-D over Cindy's bass G-F#-E-D-E-C-E-C-D Kim seems to play a G chord (as above) across this in the first bridge of the
"Into the Night" video and a D chord (as above) across this in the second bridge
from the same video. I'm not sure she really plays it though, and might just be
anticipating the next chord, or holding out the last one. The chorus is: You gave me something right here for my birthday G D C D But I was hoping for something hand made Emin Bmin Amin D Long as we're here we'll just stare at the other side G D C D G The minor chords are barre chords: Emin: x-0-3-3-2-0 on the 5th fret Bmin: 0-3-3-2-0-0 on the 7th fret Amin: 0-3-3-2-0-0- on the 5th fret The D chord after the minors might be a barre chord, or might be
the open D chord from the verses.

Transciption #2:

I think the chords for the verse look like this: E---0-0-0-0--0--0 B---1-1-1-1--5--3 G---0-0-0-0--0--0 D---2-2-2-2--4--4 A---3-3-3-3--5--5 E---X-X-X-X--X--X Basically a C four times, then slide up two adding the 7th(?) then drop the seventh for a D (C on the 3rd fret).
