Leading lights of Austin’s Cutting Edge Class of ’85, the Reivers (ne Zeitgeist) packed Liberty Lunch with evocative strains of Southern-style pop bolstered by the airy harmonies of guitarist/vocalists John Croslin and Kim Longacre. The quartet never garnered the recognition warranted by songs like “Things Don’t Change” and “Secretariat”, but that didn’t stop their first public performance since 1991 (Saturday) from selling out in a day.
